Facilities and Equipment

  • Parking
    The multi-storey Grand Arcade car park is the closest. For information on charges at this car park as well as Blue Badge holders parking concessions please check this City Council website: Grand Arcade car park.
    A free covered cycle park is located under the shopping centre hosting the library. The cycle entrance is on Corn Exchange Street.
  • Public transport
    Many buses and coaches arrive and depart very close to the library from the bays in Drummer Street and Emmanuel Street. Using the Grand Arcade shopping centre entrance on St Andrew's Street is the quickest way to walk to/from the library from/to these bus stops.

    The library is wheelchair-friendly and fully accessible for all.

    A4 and A3 self-service black/white and colour photocopiers are available on each floor of the library (to avoid queuing at the helpdesks you can bring bring cash to pay)  - See charges details

    1 microfiche and 2 microfilm reader printers are available in the Cambridgeshire Collection which is located on the 3rd floor of the library.

    You don't need to have a library card to use this service.
  • Conference and Meeting Rooms for hire
    Conference and modern looking meeting rooms equipped with smart TVs are available for hire at an affordable rate.
